Target Group
Mobile elevated work Platform training for novice or experienced operators. Courses are held on clients premises.
Aim
To ensure operators operate the equipment safely and efficiently following best practice as published by IPAF.
Objectives
On completion of the course candidates will be able to:
- Outline their responsibilities under the relevant legislation including the Health and Safety at Work Act
- Reduce and eliminate unsafe operating conditions
- Carry out pre-use and pre-use function tests of the equipment
- Understand the importance of correct selection of fall arrest equipment
- Be fully aware of the effects of suspension trauma and actions to adress it
- Succesfuly operate the equipment through multiple situations safely
