1 Day Abrasive Wheels safeety course 

Target Group

All employees involved in the use and mounting of abrasive prioducts and wheels.

Aim

The course covers both theoretical and practical safe handling and use of the equipment.This is in accordance with the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations.

Objectives

On completion of the trainiong candidates will;

• Prevent and reduce accidents relating to the use of abrasive wheels
• Demonstrate a awareness of the hazards and the precautions required to minimise incident and injury
• Demonstrate a understanding regardng the marking of abrasive wheels
• Assemble abrasive wheels correctly
• Use suitable Personal Protective Equipment
• Understand correct storage of abrasive wheels
