William Hackett Chains Limited was established back in 1892 as a Chain Maker and Chain Assembly Maker. Throughout that time we have developed markets throughout various industries including Marine, Playground and Leisure, Engineering and Agricultural to name but a few.

We currently manufacture & supply

• Bespoke Mooring Chain Assemblies and associated Components, to many Harbours, Marinas, Leisure Craft Manufacturers, Sailing Clubs & Mooring Contractors.
• Swing Chains, Climbing Nets and Swing Chain Components, to many of the large U.K. Leisure Product Manufacturers
• Gr.40 Chain Slings, predominantly used in Galvanizing and Foundry plants
• Pump Lifting Chains both in 316L Gr.50 & 316 Stainless Steel and Gr.40 Galvanized supplied to the Water Utility companies via our range of U.K. distributors and Pump manufacturers.
• Flail Chain, Tow Chains, Transmission Chains and components to the Agricultural Market

Our manufacturing capabilties allow us to have the capacity to bend and weld up to 38mm diameter material in Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel and Stainless Steel.

Bespoke assemblies can be manufactured to customers specific requirements.
